Mtentu River Bridge – Talus Stabilisation
Talus stabilisation works at Pier 9 of the Mtentu River Bridge to support the major excavation and ensure stability of the surrounding slope. The scope includes controlled excavation of the slope, installation of tensioned soil nails, geocomposite band drains for groundwater management, and the application of reinforced shotcrete to form a structural support facing.
